Christmas

At what point did Christmas become this big thing where you have to spend money you can't afford on presents for everyone you know?

I got one person a gift I thought they'd like, then I have to look at the gift I got another person and make sure I'm not letting him down... pretty soon, I've spent way more money than I should on everyone on my list.

And I still haven't gotten my mom anything. I hate buying presents, because I can never seem to figure out what the people I know would like.

Then there's someone who I didn't expect to get a gift from who sent me something. I feel like I should send something back, but I'm at a complete loss... and I hate doing gift certificates.

Ugh. Why can't Christmas just be about eating too much and looking at the pretty lights?
